The Journey

Our journey all began last fall while sitting bare foot at church and Pastor Dwight was up talking about another mission trip to Uganda, Africa. I had no idea where Uganda was but I knew that I have always wanted to go to Africa. I leaned over and whispered to Sarah, "we should go." She looked back at me with a big smile and said "Ok, lets go." From that point on God has led us on a remarkable journey. Just a year later, we are following Gods plan for us....and not our own.

One of the most exciting things is we are going to be adopting a little boy from Sanyu Baby Home. He is such a precious gift from God and we are so greatful to be his parents. We will also be working with an organization called A Perfect Injustice, helping with there street ministry, feeding program and mininstering to the children of Uganda. We will be staying with them for the majority of the time we are there.

We will be driving from Durango to Nashville on the 29th of Decmber. We will make it a two week road trip to see family along the way, on January 15th we Fly out of Nashville TN to Uganda.  We are so blessed to be able to go and to share with you our journey.
