We have three days till we leave Durango and the stress is setting in. Sarah is busy double checking our adoption paper work and making sure we have backup copies of everything. I have been getting the vehicle ready for our drive to Nashville. We wil be traveling over the next two weeks to Texas, Florida, and then to Nashville please pray for our safety and that our new van will make the trip. Over the past days I have learned that when we get stressed out it is always best to lean on God rather attempt the task on your own.
P.S.
Thank you to those whose attended our adoption shower for Jethro. We are thankful for all the love and gifts we have received from everyone. May God bless you as you have blessed us.

Classes all done
It has come to an end! We have finished our classes that are required for adoption. It has taken some time but it has been very educational. Understanding how to be a parent through 24 hours of classroom time is all you need, right? People keep telling us that there is nothing like learning from experience when it comes to raising a child. Our last class was basic child care with a lady down in Aztec, which was so hard for Sarah to find. You would think that something like this would be easy to find for people that are first time parents. I am thankful for the hoops that we are to jump through, they are molding us into better parents and better people. God will teach us through every day life if we ask for His guidance.

The Journey
Our journey all began last fall while sitting bare foot at church and Pastor Dwight was up talking about another mission trip to Uganda, Africa. I had no idea where Uganda was but I knew that I have always wanted to go to Africa. I leaned over and whispered to Sarah, "we should go." She looked back at me with a big smile and said "Ok, lets go." From that point on God has led us on a remarkable journey. Just a year later, we are following Gods plan for us....and not our own.
One of the most exciting things is we are going to be adopting a little boy from Sanyu Baby Home. He is such a precious gift from God and we are so greatful to be his parents. We will also be working with an organization called A Perfect Injustice, helping with there street ministry, feeding program and mininstering to the children of Uganda. We will be staying with them for the majority of the time we are there.
We will be driving from Durango to Nashville on the 29th of Decmber. We will make it a two week road trip to see family along the way, on January 15th we Fly out of Nashville TN to Uganda. We are so blessed to be able to go and to share with you our journey. Please follow us as we embark on this exciting mission.
